The Analyst RHP supports RHP with data gathering, reporting, and interpretation. The Analyst primarily supports the provider and patient engagement teams. Data will be retrieved from various sources and validated. The Analyst will skillfully interpret the data and deliver it in a usable format for optimal efficiency, accuracy, and quality. The Analyst RHP is a team player with the talent to solve complex problems by maximizing and mastering the use of the available tools. The position will meet and interact with various team members to improve strategic use of data as requested. Position will also develop customized ad hoc reports to answer a variety of business and clinical questions.
Bachelors Degree in Computer Sciences, information systems, statistics or related field
Minimum 2-4 Years of Business Intelligence or comparable data analysis experience, preferably in a healthcare-related field.
Strong communication skills
Critical thinking and an analytical approach to tasks
Proficiency with SQL and relational database concepts
Proficiency and demonstrated experience with report writing tools
Must be a highly proficient user of Excel and high understanding of database programs
Strong understanding and experience with Epic reporting tools
Business Intelligence or comparable data analysis experience, preferably in a healthcare-related field.
Experience with Power BI is a plus
Core Job Responsibilities
Develop reports and analysis required to support population health, clinical integration, quality improvement and other clinical initiatives.
Analyze data from various sources, recommend solutions for streamlining, and contribute to the development and management of the organizations data and population health analytics infrastructure.
Source data will be from a variety of systems such as Epic, Power BI, payor systems, etc.
Develop and prepare intelligent reports and provide and/or interpret information and data across multiple data sources to include care opportunity and care gap reports.
Develop and maintain performance on scorecards and dashboards.
Perform a variety of projects related to the analysis of data with a focus on improving health outcomes.
Develop processes and analytical tools to facilitate data collection, validation, trending, analysis, and reporting activities in support of critical population health initiatives.
Assist in the presentation of data to support value-based initiatives, chronic disease management program, and quality improvement programs to reach organizational goals.
Provide expertise and guidance on data collection, sharing and reporting projects that involve the use of multiple EHRs and data feeds.
Audit validity of data in the system by producing comparative reports, crosschecking, reconciling, and other mechanisms.
Work with care management staff, provider engagement staff and IT/IS departments to facilitate data collection and maximize quality of data collected.
Participate in meetings with members and staff to improve strategic use of data as requested.
Develop customized ad hoc reports to answer a variety of business and clinical questions, such as determining the financial impact of various initiatives, identifying key medical cost drivers, report on cost and quality performance metrics, and determining value-based incentive payments.
