Aiken Regional Medical Centers

Aiken Regional Medical Centers, located in Aiken, South Carolina, is a 273-bed acute care facility providing quality healthcare to the residents of Aiken and surrounding communities. Aiken Regional Medical Centers has been ranked a top hospital in South Carolina by the Carolina Center for Medical Excellence for its treatment of heart attack, heart failure and pneumonia. Services provided at the hospital include emergency medical care, orthopedic surgeries, maternity, and behavioral health services.

Rehab Aide

Assist the staff therapists and assistants by relieving them of the responsibilities which can logically, legally, and safely be delegated to supportive personnel. Also assists with the overall operation of the department.

Essential Job Duties:
Prepares, cleans and maintains all treatment areas and equipment.
Assists therapists/assistants with support as needed during therapy treatments.
Maintains inventory of all supplies. Orders and logs all supplies as needed
Transports/escorts patients to and from treatment areas as appropriate.
Prepares patients and/or treat areas for treatment.
Demonstrates efficient and cost-effective approach to role and responsibilities through the appropriate use and care of equipment, resources and supplies.
Timely, accurately and cost-effective delivery of services and other processes.
Suggests, develops, improves and implements efficient systems to accomplish tasks.
Prioritizes and clarifies roles and responsibilities appropriately.
Strong organizational skills related to roles and responsibilities.
Offers assistance to others when time is available.
Successfully manages multiple tasks and functions related to this position.
Cross-trains others on critical aspects of this position.
Attends and actively participates in team meetings/patient staffing, as well as attends departmental and interdepartmental in-services as indicated.
Demonstrates professional excellence. Promotes and provides outcome-oriented and consistent, high quality services.
Reliable and dependable team member. Accountable for your own practices and responsibilities.
Actions and decisions are appropriate in routine and emergency situations.
Actively seeks personal growth in both professional and business practices. Demonstrates strong competency in role and responsibilities.


High School Graduate or GED.
Current CPR certification.
Well organized; a team player; able to follow directions.
