Job Description

The Employee Relations Specialist conducts investigation with legal impact-EEO issues, possible disparate treatment issues based on HR trends by EEO categories, harassment, assault, and provides recommendations for actions and next steps applying Just Culture. This role participates in stay and exit interviews; and complex ADA interactive processes. This position advises leaders and colleagues in complex LOA issues. The Employee Relations Specialist provides Training on HR Compliance issues-lunch and learns on professionalism, favoritism and any other root cause trends within ER cases. This role partners with the Program Manager EEO/Affirmative Action to ensure alignment with processes, procedures, as a response to a change in rule and regulations.

Qualifications

JD and one (1) year of human resources or employment and labor work experience; or Masters Degree and two (2) years of Human Resources work experience or demonstrated investigatory training or Bachelors Degree and five (5) years of Human Resources work experience. Demonstrated understanding and the ability to apply any regulations, statutes or laws that impact recruitment activities, such as Affirmative Action. Knowledge and the ability to apply applicable policies, regulations, statues and laws that govern people operations.
