Provides staff support to the Upstate Teleservice Unit and provides physician and service referrals to clients/patients from Spartanburg and Anderson counties. Provides Call Center services to all callers from any location. Interacts with customers (callers, physicians, hospital personnel and community service contacts) to provide information and collect information. Must be able to exercise judgement, tact and diplomacy. pages physicians during After Hours.
High school Graduate or equivalent. Two years recent hospital or medical experience preferred. Skills in use of personal computer for word processing and database applications. Working knowledge of Microsoft email, Word, and excel preferred. Three years customer service experience with strong interpersonal skills preferred. Medical terminology preferred. Strong typing skills 40 wpm.
