Job Description

The ER Registrar ensures that complete and accurate patient account information is collected and entered into the hospital record. Verifies patient insurance information and collects and makes arrangement for payment for services. Provides exceptional customer service and works with other departments to ensure the needs of the patient and family.

Minimum Requirements

Applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent required. Must have excellent computer, communication, customer service, & organization skills required. Must possess a basic knowledge of medical terminology; previous experience in a hospital registration/admissions department or medical office strongly preferred.
