MRMC is a thriving Level II Trauma Center that sees nearly 80,000 visits a year and growing. We are looking for a creative Nursing Director that can take our growing Trauma Center to the next level. We are currently in the planning/design stage of a new Emergency Department that will accommodate up to 100,000 visits per year.

The Director of Nursing
Assumes 24 hour accountability for the management and direction of the human and material resources necessary to provide quality patient care and service. The ED Management team includes an Assistant Director, a Clinical Nurse Manager/Educator and 6 RN Supervisors that report to the Director.
Supervises multi-position employees in order to contribute to the overall goals of the MedicalCenter

Qualifications for this position:

BSN required. Masters preferred.

Management experience of an ED with 60,000 plus yearly visits

Experience with Lean Six Sigma preferred

Extensive experience in the management of ED flow

Experience with managing ED physician relationships. MRMC ED physicians are hospital owned.
