The Registered Nurse in Home Health is responsibel for primary patient care for patients under the leadership of the Team Supervisor.
PRN as scheduled, weekend rotation of 1 every 5-6 weekends. Call may be required.
McLeod Home Health provides quality health care for patients outside a hospital setting who require extended care after being released from the hospital. McLeod Home Health has assembled a team of skilled health care professionals, such as nurses, physical and occupational therapists, and social workers, to address each patient's individualized care plan.
Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program and possess a valid South Carolina nursing license. Demonstrated ability in exhibiting good communication skills, attention to guest relations focusing on the patient as a client. Good interpersonal relationships. Good writing skills and computer literacy are desirable. Organizational and time management skills desirable. Evidence of continuing education in home care highly desirable.
Must have foundational knowledge of medical surgical nursing practice. Must have at least two years nursing experience in the hospital setting. Previous home care highly desirable.
