Job Description

The Safety & Quality Control Officer is responsible for the Environment of Care (EC) management plans, life safety and quality control (QC) assurance in healthcare settings, including but not limited to work performed in existing and new physical plant facilities. May require work in limited and confined spaces, including but not limited to work below buildings in basements, crawl spaces, and similar areas, as well as above ceiling work in office spaces, clinical, and patient care areas. The Safety and QC Officer will be the point of contact for ensuring compliance with the EC management plans and quality requirements identified in project plans and specifications. The Safety and QC Officer will serve as a member of the McLeod Health Decontamination Team in the event of a disaster. Must be available to work all shifts and weekends as necessary. Work Schedule
Full-time (80 hours biweekly) as scheduled

Skills Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architect, or Construction Management preferred; Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE), or Certified Quality Manager (CQM) preferred possess a High School Diploma or equivalent; must have a valid drivers license.

Experience Required
A minimum of five years of experience in the field of construction and/or plant operations safety and quality assurance preferred. Experience working in health care environment is preferred.
