Works under the supervision of an occupational therapist and carries out treatment programs established by the therapist. They implement a variety of occupational therapy services for patients with different injuries and diseases. These services include structured assessments, treatment and documentation.
Occupational Therapy serves both inpatient and outpatient populations. A team of Occupational Therapists, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), and Rehab Aides collaborate to offer to general, pediatric and aquatic therapy regimens, as well as specialized hand and upper extremity treatments.
Two year related Associates degree in Occupational Therapy.
Zero to less than one year of related work experience.
