(ARRT) American Registry of Radiologic Technologist or registry eligible. Certification with South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association required. Candidate must complete and pass ARRT exam within 12 months of graduation from Radiologic Technology Program. Must meet ACR accreditation guidelines for CT imaging.
A minimum of one (1) year CT experience preferred.
Requires frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling weights of fifty (50) pounds or more. Requires standing or sitting for extended periods. Visual attention and concentration are essential.
AGE SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Recognizes the normal signs (growth and development of aging) of the patient population served and understands the requirements of performing clinical work on the specific age group(s). Completes annual training specific to age needs of patient population.
OSHA TASK CATEGORY I:
Have knowledge of proper use of personal protective clothing and equipment and of areas where clothing and equipment are maintained. Receives education and training in universal precautions, barrier protection techniques and modes of transmission of blood-borne viruses.
